1. Elbamatt

🇮🇹 Tanned in Italy

Elbamatt is a gorgeous full-grain leather made from cowhide. This leather is vegetable tanned giving it a natural and earthy feel. Our collection has four different finishes (see below).

*Full-grain means the original surface of the hide is used.

*Vegetable tanning is the oldest and most traditional art form of turning hides into supple leathers. By using vegetable tannins instead of chemicals, this leather is all-natural and biodegradable.

"Natural"

No oil is used in this finishing process, giving these Elbamatt straps a classic, rustic look.

"Oiled"

Elbamatt straps with this finish are lightly oiled to protect the leather and add a touch of shine.

"Pull-Up"

These Elbamatt straps are finished with specialty oils. These oils will gather in the creases of the leather — which will create gorgeous color variations and lines over time.

"Vintage"

These Elbamatt straps are put through a brushing machine one by one. This creates darker halos on the leather which give the straps a vintage look.
